We regularly benchmark our prices against other local practices to ensure we remain competitive. Please note that some prices may vary depending on the case and treatment plan needed. Every treatment is individual and costs will vary from patient to patient. For major treatments, involving multiple visits, costs will be split over the course of those appointments.

Cancellation Policy

We ask for at least 2 working days' notice of any cancellation or reschedule to an appointment, in order to give us time to offer appointments to other patients who need them, and to refill our dentists' diaries. If patients cancel at shorter notice or fail to attend, our policy is to ask for up front payment for future appointments.

Data Protection

Patients have a right to expect that we deal with their medical data in a confidential and sensitive way. Dorking Dental Centre maintains patient records under the General Data Protection Regulation. We ask patients' consent to hold their data. We hold and transport patient data securely.

We provide patients with a right to erasure of their data should they leave the practice. In the event that we change our record management systems, we will conduct a data protection impact assessment to ensure that we maintain our high standards of data care and confidentiality.

Incidents and complaints

We want every patient to be delighted with their treatment, but we understand that dental treatment can sometimes be nerve-wracking and that in any complex procedure such as dentistry there is not a 100% chance of success. We are therefore committed to making any incident or complaint an opportunity to improve our service. Even with complaints that we have not upheld, we have always found some opportunity to improve our service or communication.

Our complaints policy is available on request from the practice. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of any complaint, below are the details of an independent avenue for complaint and arbitration, funded by our regulator, the General Dental Council:
